Ink cartridges
Two types of black ink cartridges are available for the LX800 colour label printer: (1) BLACK standard to print virtually on glossy and semi-glossylabels, and (2) PIGMENTED BLACK for a higher barcode print quality and a higher water and UV rays resistance. The PIGMENTED BLACK ink is not efficient on all the glossy media types. The COLOURED ink cartridges are used on all surface except for somemat media. It is suggested to do some tests before buying high quantities of labels.
Adhesive Labels - Standard sizes
The original TuffCoat High-Gloss and Semi-Gloss Primera labels are the ideal combination for the ink of the LX800's cartridge. Compatibility and performance are granted by the manufacturer.
TuffCoat High-Gloss
smooth, brilliant surface and permanent adhesive. Excellent adhesion with cardboard, metal and many plastics. The High-glossfinish is resistant to water and abrasion.
TuffCoat Semi-Gloss
smooth surface and permanent adhesive. Excellent adhesion on cardboard, metal and many plastics. Slightly water-resistant, but with an excellent abrasion-resistance.
